The family took on the project of leveling out the hill directly south of the cabin.  This not only created a lot more useable space for picnic tables (useable meaning, tables would not tip over in a dangerous, but sometimes comical, way).  The project included bringing in a truck load of dirt, picking out rocks, picking out more rocks, waiting a bit, picking out a lot more rock...



and planting grass (Thank you Hill family for the donation of sod).  The results have been quite dramatic.
